Mission Statement
The mission of the Hilburn Drive Academy School Counseling program is to provide strengths based and preventative counseling services in a supportive, nurturing environment. The comprehensive, developmentally appropriate guidance program addresses academic, personal/social, and career needs of all students in order to encourage optimal learning and development. Through counseling services, community collaboration, and interventions, the school counselor emphasizes the values of lifelong learning, responsibility, and citizenship.
In 2010, Hilburn Drive Academy School Counseling Department received American School Counselor Association's RAMP recognition. Hilburn Drive is a Recognized National Model Program.
